For Cooking Rice
  • 1/2 Cup Rice
  • 3 Cups Water
Other Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 2 Tablespoon Ghee
  • 10 Cashews
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powdered
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  1. Add Rice and water into a pressure cooker. Pressure cook in medium flame upto 4 whistles.  Switch off the flame.

  2. After the pressure is released open the pressure cooker. Allow the rice to cool down.

  3. Blen the rice into a paste.

  4. Heat milk in another sauce pan. When the milk starts boiling add in the Black Rice paste, salt and sugar.

  5. Keep cooking until the Kheer thickens. 

  6. Add in Cardamom Powder. Add in Ghee. Cook for few more minutes.

  7. Switch off the flame and garnish with roasted cashews.
