Recent days iam addicted to pudina / Mint. I dont know how or when this addiction started. That when i found out Tea can be made into Pudina Tea and that is so tasty and flavourful. Yes if you love the minty flavour like me then this Mint Tea / Pudina Chai would definitely delight you. It has a refreshing flavour. Every time i make pudina tea for myself i feel like wanting more of it. I have added tea granules and mint leaves into boiling milk. Left until it infuses into milk. Refreshing Mint tea is now ready. Mint Tea / Pudina Chai
Mint Tea / Pudina Chai is a refreshing hot Bevarage.
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Milk
- To Taste Jaggery Powder or Refined Sugar
- 2 Teaspoon Tea Leaves / Granules
- 20 Mint Leaves
Instructions
- Heat Milk in a sauce pan. Add in Tea Leaves or granules.
- Bring it to boil. So that the Tea granules infuses with milk. Now add in cleaned and washed mint leaves.
- Simmer the flame and leave it for 2 or 3 minutes. Add in Jaggery Powder and switch off the flame.
- Give a quick stir.
- Now strain the tea mixture.
- Refreshing mint tea is now ready.
Notes
- I used Taj Mahal tea.
- Jaggery powder can also be replaced by refined sugar
- I like to prepare tea only with milk. But you can still substitute a portion of it with water as per you taste.
- ½ Cup Can be replaced with ½ Cup water.
