
Mutton Soup is a healthy and Tasty soup. There are many variations in mutton soup. My version of soup is prepared with mutton kheema. I got this recipe when I was finding out ways on how make my little One eat mutton. Since the Kheema particles are tiny she finds it comfortable to eat only Kheema in mutton. Since I prepared this recipe for my kid I have not added many spices and kept it simple. This is a thin and light soup is great starter before any meal. This soup can give a soothing feeling while taken during monsoons and cold weather. But can be served anytime of the year as a starter. Mutton Kheema is cooked with onion and tomato and that adds some flavor to it. At the end seasoned with jeera. Here goes the recipe...

Ingredients:
To Pressure Cook:
Mutton Kheema - ½ Cup
Onion - 1 or shallots - 5
Tomato - 1
Water - 1.5 Cup
Turmeric Power - ¼ teaspoon
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Salt-to taste
For Tampering:
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Jeera - 1 teaspoon
Onion chopped - 1 tablespoon
Curry Leaves - Few
Step by Step Photos on how to make Mutton Kheema Soup Recipe:
- Add Mutton Kheema, Tomato, Onion, Ginger Garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt into a pressure cooker. Add water up to the level of the ingredients. Pressure cook for 3 whistles. After the first whistle reduce the flame for next 2 whistles. Switch off after 3 whistles.
- Allow to pressure from the pressure cooker release on its own. In another pan heat oil. Add Jeera and allow them to crackle. Add Chopped onion and saute until glossy. Add curry leaves until the raw smell leaves. Add this mixture on top of the pressure cooked Mutton Kheema.

Tips:
- Mutton Soup can be prepared not only with kheema but also with bones and mutton Pieces.
- Cleaning Mutton Kheema is Tricky as they are tiny particles they tend to wash away with water while cleaning. Use a fine cloth to drain away the excess water while washing it.
Serving Suggestion:
Mutton Kheema soup can be served as a starter. Serve with Pepper it you like more spices.
