    Mutton Liver Cabbage Masala

    Mutton Liver Cabbage Masala is a nutritious and easy appetizer. Mutton Liver is pressure cooked and Tossed in masalas and then cooked with cabbage. The Cabbage gives some crunch to the dish. This can be consumed as a meal when you are on a Keto Diet.

    Mutton Liver Cabbage Masala

    Ingredients

    To Pressure Cook

    • 250 Grams Mutton Liver
    • ¼ Cup Water
    • 1 Teaspoon Salt
    • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

    For Tampering

    • 1 Tablespoon Oil
    • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
    • 2 Cloves
    • 1 inch Cinnamon
    • 1 Star Anise
    • 2 Bay Leaves
    • 1 Mace
    • 2 Cardamom

    Other Ingredients

    • ½ Cup Cabbage
    • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
    • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
    • 1 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
    • 2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
    • ½ Teaspoon Cumin Powder
    • Salt to taste

    Instructions

    • Wash the mutton liver and add them into a pressure cooker.
    • Add in turmeric powder, salt and water. Close the pressure cooker and pressure cook for 3 whistles in medium flame. Switch off the flame. Allow the pressure cooker to release pressure on its own. Open the pressure cooker and set them aside.
    • Heat oil in a wok.
    • Add in cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
    • Add in Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Mase, Star Anise, Bay Leaves. Saute until nice aroma comes out.
    • Add in the cooked Mutton Liver. Saute for 2 minutes.
    • Add in Cabbage and Ginger Garlic Paste. Keep cooking until raw smell goes off.
    • Add in Cumin Powder, Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder and Coriander powder and saute until the masalas blend well.
    • Mutton Liver Cabbage Masala is now ready to serve.

    Step by step photos on how to make Mutton Liver Cabbage Masala:

    1. Add Mutton Liver into a pressure cooker. Add in Turmeric Powder.

    2. Add in Salt and only required water. Mix it gently.

    3. Close the pressure Cooker. Pressure cook for 3 whistles in medium flame. Switch off the flame. Allow the pressure to release on its own. Open the pressure cooker. Set it aside.

    4. Heat oil in a wok. Add in cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.

    5. Add in Bay Leaves, Star Anise, Black Stone Flower, Cloves, Cinnamon and cardamom. Saute until nice aroma comes. Add in the pressure cooked Mutton Liver with its Water. Keep cooking.

    6. Add in chopped Cabbage, Green Chillis and Ginger Garlic Paste.

    7. Saute until the raw smell goes off.

    8. Add in Turmeric powder, Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder and Cumin Powder. Saute until the masalas blend well.

    Filling Cabbage Mutton Liver Masala is now ready to serve.
