Semiya Paal Ice / Vermicelli Milk Popsicle is a one of the delicious milk based popsicles. Its a creamy lovely popsicle. My little girl's favourite. She once tasted it and wanted me to prepare it for her. I have used fine vaiety vermicelli so that its easy and time saving. Paal ice can be flavoured with Vanilla extract or rose water or Cardamom powder. Checkout other Popsicle recipes here.
Semiya Paal Ice / Vermicelli Milk Popsicle
Semiya Paal Ice / Vermicelli Milk Popsicle is a delicious dessert.
Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Milk
- ½ Cups Semiya / Vermicelli
- Required Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Rose Water
Instructions
- Boil milk in a sauce pan. Let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add in sugar and rose water.
- After the sugar melts add in vermicelli.
- Cook until the vermicelli cooks soft. Switch off the flame. Cool Down the mixture.
- Get ready with the popsicle molds. Fill them. Close the lid. Freeze until it harderns.
- After it hardens remove them from the freezer.
- Hold the popsicle mold in running tap water so that the popsicles loosens.
- Pull them out of the mold.
- Delicious popsicles are now ready to serve.
Notes
- Even paper cups can be used as popsicle molds.
- Semiya can also be replaced with Sago, Boiled Rice, Rice Flakes,
Chocolate Chunks, Tutti Frutti or even fruit chunks. - I have used fine variety vermicelli so it was cooked easily.
- Rose water can be replaced with Vanilla extract or cardamom powder.
- Freeze the popsicle for atleast 4 hours or until it hardens.

- Get ready with the popsicle molds. Fill them. Close the lid. Freeze until it harderns. After it harders remove them from the freezer. I left it in the kitchen counter for just 2 minutes. After 2 minutes i could easily pull out the popsicles. Ya this is due to the terrible hot climate here. As alternate show them on running tap water so that the popsicles loosens before your pull them out of the mold.
