DrumStick Blossom Stir Fry / Murungai Poo Poriyal / Drumstick flower fry is a healthy stir fry recipe to be served with rice.

Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Murungai Poo / Drumstick Blossom
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 2 Small Pods Garlic
  • 2 Spring Curry Leaves
  • 2 Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Split Urad Dal
  • 2 Tablespoon Coconut Grated
  • Salt to Taste
Instructions
  1. Remove the sticks from the drumstick blossoms and clean it. 

  2. Heat oil in a Pan. Add Mustard and Urad dal and allow to splutter.

  3.  Add Onion and Garlic and saute into glossy.

  4. Add curry leaves and saute them. Add dry red chillis and drumstick blossom and saute them.

  5. Add turmeric powder and saute it. Add 1 tablespoon of water. Saute until the drumstick blossom is cooked well.

  6. Add Coconut and saute it for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame and keep it closed for 5 minutes.

  7. Drumstick blossom stir fry is now ready to serve.
