Mustard

Grated ( optional)
Instructions
Soak channa dal in water for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok. Add in mustard and allow them to splutter.
Add in onion and green chillis and saute them until glossy.
Add in curry leaves and saute them.
Drain the excess water and add in the channa dal.
Cook for few minutes.
Add in grated Beetroot and saute until the beetroot is cooked well.
Add in salt to taste.
When the beetroot is cooked add in the coconut and give a quick stir. Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.
Nutritious and colorful beetroot stir fry is now ready to serve.
Notes
Beetroot can also be chopped. Howwver it takes a bit more time to cook.
Coconut is completely optional.
