    Jackfruits are one of my favourite fruits. So as my little girl. JackFruit Popsicle / Palapazha ice is a delightful dessert for both of us. They are delightful and simple to prepare. My lil one wants a surprise snack everyday when she is back from school. And when it comes to popsicle my little one is all smiles whenever I make it. Making her cheerful with the goodness of jackfruit makes me delightful too. Here goes the recipe…(with updated pics)

    JackFruit Popsicle / Palapazha ice

    JackFruit Popsicle / Palapazha ice is a delicious dessert.

    Servings: 4 Popsicles

    Ingredients

    • 1 Cup Milk
    • 6 Jackfruit Arils
    • Sugar as per Taste
    • 5 Drops Vanilla Extract

    Instructions

    • Remove the seeds from jackfruit arils and chop them into smaller pieces.
    • Add 1 cup of milk into a blender. Add half of the chopped jack fruit and vanilla extract and blend them well.
    • Add sugar and blend them again. Add the chopped jackfruit arils and mix them well.
    • Fill the popsicle molds with the jackfruit/Milk mixture. Close them with aluminium foil.
    • Insert Popsicle sticks and leave it in the refrigerator for 6 hours or until it freezes. After its frozen remove them from the refrigerator. Dip the bottom of the Popsicle moulds in water so that its easy to remove the Popsicle from the moulds. Fantastic Pops ready to serve.

    • The number of Popsicle completely depends on the type of the mold used.
