Mix Veg Pakoda. A Healthy version of pakoda. Recent days am addicted to pakodas. My pakoda fever started from the chicken pakoda that I shared a few days before. Wanted to make a healthy version of pakoda of course could not substitute the deep frying part so decided to add in lot of veggies. I have added cabbage, carrot, Beetroot. I was full I smiles when my little girl liked it. When you have left over vegetable in a week end and want to clear out this is a great option. Yummy snack with all the goodness of veggies. A must try I say...

- 1.5 Teaspoon Chilli Powder / Garam Masala
- Salt To Taste
- Required Oil For Deep Frying
Add Any one of the Following
- 1 Tablespoon White sesame seeds
- 2 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
Instructions
- Chop all the vegetables and add into a mixing bowl.
- Add in Salt to taste, Gram Flour, Corn Flour and Gently mix them.
- Sprinkle water on this mixture and mix them. Stop adding water when the mixture is moist enough to stick with each other.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Add 1 tablespoon of pakoda veggie mixture into hot oil at a time.
- Deep fry on both sides until golden brown.
- Remove them from oil and place them in an absorbent paper for the excess oil to be absorbed.
- Yummy and Crispy pakoda are now ready to be served.
Notes
- While adding water take caution not to make the mixture into a paste. Or it would absorb more oil while deep frying. Add more gram flour to adjust the consistency.
- If the water is very less the contents of the pakoda would not hold shape while deep frying. Sprinkle more water to adjust the consistency.
- I did not add the chilli powder or garam masala as I was preparing it for my kid.
