    Paneer Poppers

September 16, 2017 By Anlet Prince 17 Comments

Paneer Poppers are a delicacy and a great appetiser. It is a mouthwatering delicacy. My little girl makes sure she orders this first whenever we eat out in a restaurant. There are even times we have gone to restaurants specifically to eat these poppers. Almost every Friday evenings were becoming popper Fridays. That is when i decided to make it at home. This can also be easily made at home. The time required is very less. Even it is very easy for beginners. My little girl demands it at least one in a week. Paneer poppers with tomato sauce is her fav combo.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Cup Scrambled Paneer
    • 1 Teaspoon Oregano

    • ¼ Cup BreadCrumbs
    • 2 Tablespoon Coconut Grated

    For Wheat Batter

    • ⅓ Cup Water

    Instructions

    • Mix wheat flour, water and salt and make a thin paste. Heat oil in a frying pan for deep frying the poppers.

    • Make small balls out of the paneer mixture. Dip them in the wheat paste. Toss them in the bread crumbs.

    • Serve them hot with tomato Sauce.

    Notes

    • Generally all purpose flour is used for the binding flour. I have replaced it with wheat flour
    • Instead of wheat flour Beaten egg can be used for dipping and then coating in bread crumbs

I dont mind munching few poppers rite now, and wheat flour coating sounds simply awesome rather than coating with all purpose flour, thats a smart idea Anlet. Fantastic munchies they are.
