    Chicken Dum Biryani
Biryani is an aromatic rice recipe loved by all. Dum biryani has a long procedure to prepare but it is delicious. Good quality chicken and good quality basmati rice are the key ingredients for best biryani. Rice and Juicy chicken with masala are layered in a handi type pot and allowed to cook in dum style. This gives great flavour and aroma to the dish. It has a good texture too. I wanted to post this biryani but waiting for an apt season. And now it is "christmas Season". Biryani would be a definite part in this season. Chicken Biryani is one recipe that is so close to my heart. I would fall for it when my mom prepares it for us. So as my little one. My hubby is a die hard fan of this biryani and would bribe me anything to get this prepared. I simply love the fragrance that fills the air when the whole spices are roasted in ghee. MMMM Simply super delicious. Here goes the recipe...

    Tips:

    • I have added 2 green chillis and 1 teaspoon of green chilli. My spice level was very minimum. Increase the chilli powder and green chillis as er your spice requirements.
    • Cook the rice upto only 75 %. As the rice cooks again in the dum process.
    • The more time of marination the tastier the chicken is.
