Jackfruit Seed Kurma is a good gravy to be served with rotis and pulaos

Ingredients
- 10 Small Jackfruit Seeds
- ½ Cup Coconut Grated
- 1.5 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Cardamom
- 1 Bay Leaves
- 1 Onion Sliced
- 1.5 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 Green Chillis
- Curry Leaves Fistful
- 1 Teaspoon Red chilli Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1.5 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
Instructions
- Dry roast jackfruit seeds. Remove the outer skin. Add them into pressure cooker with required water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles. Switch off the flame and set them aside.
- Heat oil in a wok. Add in Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and bay leaves. Heat until nice aroma comes out.
- Add in sliced onion and green chillis and saute until glossy.
- Add in poppy seeds and coconut into a blender with required water and blend them into a smooth paste.
- Add in curry leaves and saute them. Add ginger garlic paste into the onion and saute for few minutes. Add in the coconut paste. Add in jackfruit seeds. Cook for few minutes.
- Add in chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Cook until the masalas blend well.
- Delicious Jackfruit seed kurma is now ready to serve.
Notes
- Soak poppy seeds in water befor blending them with coconut.
- If not dry roast poppy seeds befor blending.
