Wheat CowPea Porridge / Wheat Black Eyed Pea Porridge

Wheat Porridge is one another healthy breakfast from my list. Its filling and a healthy option. I have it for breakfast or at times for dinner too. Its easy to prepare so its one among my instant breakfast list. Wheat combined with Cowpeas enhances the taste. The Cowpeas in this recipe can also be substituted with Channa dal or Green Gram. Another ingredient that adds taste to this dish is garlic and garlic has many good properties too. The final touch is the addition of milk. Here goes the recipe… (now with updated pics). We generally have it with Cashew and Coconut Chutney.

Sounds like a filling meal. Though I cannot reconcile adding both milk and garlic in the same dish. šŸ™‚
